For me, “fitness” is a holistic journey. I am a strong believer in the mind/body connection, and I know that our relationship with movement helps us get to the core of who we are. I also believe that everybody, and every body, is different, so every fitness program should be highly individualized.
If you want a trainer or a coach who will stand over you barking orders, put you on a strict and boring diet, or make you feel “destroyed” after a workout, keep looking. I’m not your guy.
If you want a trainer who focuses on full-body awareness, encourages you to explore your personal relationship with fitness and how to access that, coaches you into a better relationship with how you nourish yourself, and believes that fitness should only ultimately make us feel better all around, then you found the right person. (Fine, I’ll kick your butt sometimes, too.)
